ABSTRACT
Sri Aurobindo Ghose’s short lyrics reveal a deep union of mystical consciousness and integral philosophy. His poetry does not treat mysticism as an escape from life; rather, it presents spiritual experience as a higher mode of seeing, knowing, and transforming existence. The proposed study, “Mystical Consciousness and Integral Philosophy in Sri Aurobindo Ghose’s Short Lyrics,” examines how Aurobindo’s brief poetic compositions carry vast philosophical meaning through images of light, silence, soul, nature, divine presence, and inner awakening. His lyrics often move from the visible world to the invisible truth behind it, suggesting that human life is not
limited to material reality but is part of a larger spiritual evolution.
